Kookie Karma snacks and kookies are all handmade in our very own gluten-free VEGAN commercial kitchen. We strive to offer you the freshest, best tasting raw and holistic snack products that we can. To do so we like to make everything fresh each week.

Quick History:

In 2004, Kookie Karma was created in Santa Monica, CA by then 24 year old, Juli Novotny {shown in photos above}. But this wasn't her first time in the kitchen. She has worked in cafes, coffee shops and bakeries since the early age of 16. In fact, she was the head weekend chef at a popular coffee shop, baking all the pastries at 5a during high school.

Her passion has kept Juli working hard to not only sell her products wholesale to West Coast markets and directly to consumers but to also educate people on the importance of eating raw superfoods, REAL food from the ground, plant food and food high in micro nutrients and avoiding processed sugar, flour and dairy!

In the past 6 years Juli has also added 2 sons {only 12 months apart} to her already busy household. But, thanks to her supportive staff, she was able to keep the company running smoothly during this time. Leeann {shown above} has been with Juli since she built her San Diego kitchen in 2006.

Tim has since come along in 2010 as Juli's {much needed} business partner. Thanks to the positive energy brought on by this new team, Kookie Karma has launched new products and landed new stores and territories.

After having kids, Juli quickly learned that there was a need for a kids food blog. As a result, she created PUREmamas: an additional education avenue for helping parents add healthy foods to their kids' diets. It's an open-minded space where Juli just talks freely {about her own life, decor, clothes, activities, eco-friendly stuff, etc.}, shares recipes and encourages the community to join in on discussions.
